			THE Liverpool based CDP
Print Management has been congratulated after the company raised
£8,076.90 during 2013 for the Lymphoma Association.  The print
management services provider raised the funds through a variety of

Liverpool FC and England legend, John Barnes.  CDP Chairman
Paul Scanlon handed over the cheque, together with CDP Stock
Products Manager, Graham Duncan, who is also particularly active in
CDP charitable fund-raising events, along with Liverpool FC legend
John Barnes at the company's offices.  The funds will go to the

In thanking CDP for their fantastic fund-raising efforts over the
year, Stefan Antill, Fundraising Administrator at the Lymphoma
Association, said:- "Generosity like this is something we can
only hope for and the difference you have all made at CDP is
something you should all be very proud of. To give you an idea,
there are around 70,000 people affected by lymphoma in the UK. Your
fundraising could help 1,347 newly diagnosed patients speak to our
helpline team, giving them the support they need to feel less
anxious and confused and more reassured about the future. Thank you
for helping families living with lymphoma."  Commenting
on the success of the company's magnificent fund raising efforts
over the year, CDP Print Management Chairman Paul Scanlon stated:-
"This is a very worthy cause particularly close to our hearts.
We are glad to have helped in any way we can, and hope our
contribution goes some way to helping ease the suffering of others."
As a result of its efforts, CDP was presented with a Thank
You certificate by the Lymphoma Association. CDP has become one of

			 SYNEXUS
CURRENTLY RECRUITING PATIENTS WITH ASTHMA IN MERSEYSIDE
			A recruitment and clinical
studies company, Synexus, who have a dedicated research Centre, on
Merseyside, are currently recruiting adults and children (over the
age of 12), with asthma to take part in a study assessing whether
there is a better way to treat asthma.

Asthma is a long-term condition that can cause a cough, wheezing and
breathlessness due to inflammation of the airways. In the UK, 5.4
million people are currently receiving treatment for asthma; that's
1 in every 12 adults and 1 in every 11 children.

While there is no cure for asthma there are a number of treatments
that can help control the condition. Research studies are carried
out to find treatments which may reduce the severity of asthma and
provide improved medications for everyday use to control and treat
			the symptoms.

The study that Synexus is running may be suitable for:-

			1. Adults and children (aged 12 and over) who have asthma of any
			severity (e.g., mild, moderate or severe);

			2. Adults and children (aged 12 and over) who have had an acute
asthma attack in the last year which has led to the need for oral
			steroids or a trip to hospital;

Those who would like to find out more or are interested in
participating in this study should contact the Synexus Clinical
Research Centre in Merseyside, on:- 0151 550 9951 and quote
			reference code:- 10334.

There is no obligation for people to participate and if they do
decide to take part, their GP will be kept fully informed of their
involvement. Patients will be reimbursed for their time and all
reasonable out of pocket expenses if they are accepted onto the
			study.

Synexus has many years experience in conducting a wide range of
clinical studies. Each year, thousands of patients take part in
clinical studies at Synexus' Dedicated Clinical Research Centres.
There are many different studies running at each of the Centres
throughout the year including potential treatments for conditions
such as osteoporosis, raised cholesterol, eczema, diabetes and
			osteoarthritis of the knee.

Participating in a Synexus clinical study means patients receive
increased medical attention and may benefit from medications that
aren't yet available to other sufferers of their condition, while
making a positive contribution to the health of future generations.
