Under 10 Division -  Formby JSC Blacks 1 Formby JSC Whites 6

A great derby game took place between the two Formby JSC teams where Whites produced some great football and but for Nathan Farley in goal for the Blacks, they could have scored even more.  From the first whistle the passing and movement from Blacks was a joy to watch with Danny Lamb and Jack Lemmens linking brilliantly on the right side and Ben Williams and Harry Forsyth doing the same on the left. Dan Griffin lead the line up front, holding the ball up to bring others into play and Joe Blanchard bossed the midfield. Nick Abbot, Tom Elder and Kieran Hall all slotted into the team without interruption to the flow when the team was changed and Toby Gladwin in goal, who although he wasn't under much pressure, when required was brilliant.  6 really good goals from the Whites...  Jack Lemmens slotting home a great Harry Forsyth cross, a Dan Griffin volley from a quick Ben Williams throw in, another Dan Griffin thunderbolt after great work from Jack Lemmens, a Tom Elder shot from Ben Williams cross, a great Tom Elder near post header from Harry Forsyth's corner and another great header this time from Harry Forsyth who got on the end of Jack Lemmens superb cross. There was numerous other chances today, but the Blacks keeper was outstanding. A really great performance from the boys today with the passing and movement a joy to watch and for the first time this season what the boys do in training was transferred to the game. Although all the boys were brilliant Danny Lamb's showing was outstanding and he just edged the Man of the Match award.
