Reminder for
Formby Residents
FOLLOWING the problems
in Formby from the parking madness around in and around the area
near the beach at Formby Point, Sefton have issued all residents
in the areas affected a chance to have a say on how best to
tackle the problem. The problems lead to cars parking illegally,
on pavements, blocking drives, the village greens and upsetting
many residents. The issue got so bad at one point that it even
resulted in emergency services being delayed. Sadly, the
solutions raised by the council might be just as problematic,
according to some. Others fear that their views will not count,
following the mess up of the 20mph speed limit, that has lead to
many questioning if it is even worth responding to. If you had
one of the letters, you have until Friday, 31 January 2014 to
reply. The responses to the letter will be presented to the
Central Sefton Area Committee at its meeting on Wednesday, 12
